Radiation is the is the process of heat transfer in the form of waves from one place to another without the medium.  

And the heat transmitted in the form of infra-radiant heat is also known as Radian heat  

All objects are able to absorb and emit heat by radiation however black colored objects are good radiators and white colored objects are poor radiators of heat
