Hello mate!!

your answer goes here:-

Rain water harvesting is a technique of collection and storage of rainwater into natural reservoirs or tanks, or the infiltration of surface water into subsurface aquifers (before it is lost as surface runoff). One method of rainwater harvesting is rooftop harvesting.

Rainwater harvesting is a method of conserving groundwater. It is a method of storing rainwater for future use.

In houses, it is done by allowing rainwater, falling on roofs of buildings, to flow into a deep trench in the ground. It, thus, replenishes groundwater, instead of flowing off into drains that empty into rivers.
