                     Proportion

$The\ equality\ of\ two\ ratios\ is\ called\ proportion. \\ \\Let\ a,\ b,\ c\ and\ d\ are\ four\ quantities,\ then\\ \\ the\ proportional\ are\a:b: :c:d. \\ \\ \bold{Note:}\ In\ the\ proportion\ a:b: :c:d, a\ and\ d\ are\\ \\ extreme\ value\ and\ b\ and\ c\ are\ mean\ value\\ \\ . i.e.,\ Product\ of\ means = Product\ of\ extreme.$
