A rational number is a number that can be written as a ratio... That means it can be written as a fraction, in which both the numerator (the number on top) and the denominator (the number on the bottom) are whole numbers.

In general , rational no is written in the form

P\q

Where p and q are interger

And q is not equal to zero.

For example, 3\4

Here both 3,4 is an integer where 4 is not equal to zero.. hence it iss called rational number.

All whole number is rational number…

For example 2… We can write 2 as 2\1… where 2 and 1 are integer and 1 is not equal to zero.
