Rational number is defined as a number that can be represented in the form of whole number, fraction and mixed number. A negative number is also defined as a rational number. As we take examples as 34, 24567, -347, 23 / 1 , 23.56 etc all are rational numbers.

Step-by-step explanation:

A rational number is a number that can be express as the ratio of two integers. A number that cannot be expressed that way is irrational

For example, one third in decimal form is 0.33333333333333 (the threes go on forever).
