Rayon is a artificial fibre composed of cellulose obtained from wood plup . It is formed by dipping cellulose into viscose. It is also called artificial silk

It is used to make clothes, sarees because it is cheap.it is very durable and elastic . It doesn't sink and wrinkle. Hence it's quite useful .
