Answer:

PV = nRT (ideal gas equation)

where:-

P-pressure in atmospheres,

V-volume of the container in liters

n- number of moles of gas

R-ideal gas constant (0.0821 L-atm/mol-K)

T-temperature in Kelvin.

A gas which doesn't follow ideal gas behaviour that is obeying all gas laws at any temperature and pressure is called as real gas.

The compressibility factor (z) is ;

Z = PV/nRT

So For real gas, z≠1

So, PV≠nRT.
