Hey there!
=>> Education is important to everyone, irrespective of age and class. Without education a person cannot move about in life. We see in the story 'How I Taught My Grandmother to Read' that Sudha's grandmother never went to school. She could not read or write and hence she had to depend on Sudha to read out the episodes of her favourite novel. In Sudha's absence, she becomes sad because she can't read the novel. She decides to tell Sudha to teach her to read and write and when Sudha teaches her, she is happy. This clearly brings out the importance of education in life.
