a real number is a value of a continuous quantity that can represent a distance along a line. ... The real numbers include all the rational numbers, such as the integer −5 and the fraction 4/3, and all the irrational numbers, such as √2.Rational are those numbers which can be written as a ratio of two integers, the denominator being non-zero.
Real numbers are those, which can be represented on real number line.

Hi friend here is your answer

#######################

Real numbers are whole numbers (0,1,2,3,4,...etc), rational (3/4,0.425...etc) and irrational numbers(π,√2.....etc)

And differences are that real no. can be irrational or whole or rational but rational no. can only be rational no.
