A real-time operating system is any operating system intended to serve real-time applications that process data as it comes in, typically without buffer delays. Processing time requirements are measured in tenths of seconds or shorter increments of time

Only processor and RAM are not important for running computer. OS is also needed for running User interface of that computer.

OS expands to be as a Operating system. Operating system is most important and biggest need of any computer. For running any program or for viewing any image or video we need to have operating system in that computer.

And because operating system can handle programs and files it is connected with Hard drives, processors.

                           

Real Time operating system means, OS by which, we can computer can handle the real time programs and files. As more as RAM, as new gen processor as, Real time operating system works.

we can easily check which operations are currently handling by our computer from task manager. Also, we can stop them.

                               

Here are names of some popular operating systems:

1) Windows (7,8,10,XP)

2) Mac os (Mojave)

3) Linux

4) Chrome OS

                                               

Nowadays, high level and advanced operating systems are developed, because of which it is very easy and normal to use computer or OS to any person who don't have knowledge about computer.

As well as, Nowadays advanced GUI are coming to computers, because of which it is more efficient to use OS.
