Tolerance means that we disagree with the idea, not with the person. Tolerance and Conviction. If tolerance means that all ideas are correct, then essentially no idea is correct. If tolerance means that all ideas are correct, then conviction is not possible. Moral conviction becomes misconstrued for intolerance.
