Copper sulphate is very attractive due to its bright blue color. However, upon heating, this color vanishes and turns to white or grey. This is because when heated the compound loses water and becomes the anhydrous state of the compound.

when Copper sulphate is heated strongly,it changes into white coloured anhydrous copper sulphate.Later, when water is added again to it then again the colour of copper sulphate is changed to blue.it is a reversible chemical change
