Red data book of India is a document which contains the list of all the species whose survival in our country is threatened by one or the other means. It is basic to register the information on the hazard situation of the species (plants and animals) so that any step can be taken to save them from getting deceased (in case of endangered species). As on the data released in 2011 the red book consists of 48 endangered species.
