Reflex action is a sudden action in response to something in the environment.
e.g., pulling out hand from the flame if accidently touched.
The path of the reflex action is as follows :
Receptors →  sensory neuron → spinal cord → motor neuron → effector .

\huge\boxed{Hey there !}

The sudden and automatic response to a stimulus is called reflex action.

Example :- Removal of hand when we touch a hot thing, movement of diaphragm.

When we touch a hot thing, the thermo receptors present in our skin receive the stimulus and changes it into nerve impulses which are carries to spinal cord by sensory neurones. Thereby spinal cord instructs the effectors through the motor neurone then our muscle contradicts and we remove our hand.Pathway :-

Stimulus-------->Receptors-------->Sensory neurone-------->motor neurone-------->effectors--------Response.
