Solution:

When a ray of light falls on a path /plane it gets bounce back with some degree of angle it is called reflection of light.

=>Light always travel is a straight path that's why it makes angle after bounced back.

Laws of reflection of light :

  • The incident ray , reflected ray and the normal all lies in a same plain surface.
  • The angle of incidents (coming ray of light) is always equal to the angle of reflection/reflected ray (bounced back ray).

Incident ray when falls on the surface it gets bounced back and the angle which gets bounced back with some degree of angle this is called ' reflected ray.

=>When a perpendicular is drawn on the plane between the incident ray and reflected ray this perpendicular line is said to be normal.
