▪ Reflection is the change in direction of a wave at a boundary between two different media, so that the wave moves back into the medium it came from.

▪ The most common examples include the reflection of light, sound and water waves.

☆ The Law of Reflection :-

The law of reflection states that the incident ray, the reflected ray, and the normal to the surface of the mirror all lie in the same plane. Furthermore, the angle of reflection is equal to the angle of incidence.

Answer:

Reflection:when light incident on a smooth surface it gets deviated into the same medium .This phenomenon is called reflection

Laws of reflection :1 incident ray ,reflected ray ,and normal at the point of incidence lie in the same plane

2 Angle of incidence is equal to angle of reflection
