Reflex action is an automatic and rapid response to a stimulus.

For example, coughing, sneezing, blinking of eyes etc.

In reflex action, the message is passed straight to the motor neurone through a relay neurone.


The pathway taken by the reflex action is known as reflex arc.

reflex action which are under the control of brain are referred as cerebral reflaxes. committing , closure of eyes when exposed to flash of light are a few example of cerebral reflaxes. it control by spinal cord......
