A rapid and automatic response to a particular stimulus is known as a reflex action.
There are two types of reflex actions
1) Celebral reflex actions - These include the brain.
2) Spinal reflex actions - These only include the spinal cord in the reflex action.

Answer:
The nervous system controls all our actions. Some Body movements are done automatically without thinking about them. This type of actions are called Refelex actions.
Reflex actions involve Only the nerves and spinal cord.
For eg :- When our hand comes in contact of any hot object, the sensory nerves of affected area immediately pass a message to the spinal cord. The Spinal cord sends message through the motor nerves for the muscles to pull up. Muscles Pull the bone of arm and lift the arm away from the hot object even before we feel the pain.
When we see the ice cream or chocolates, our mouth waters. This is due to Reflex action. Blinking of the eyes at random is another example of reflex action.
