ANSWER:
Reflex action is a type of involuntary action; it causes instant action or movement in response to a stimulus. A stimulus is mainly define as a phenomenon which causes sudden action in a body or object.
EXPLANATION:
Reflex action has 5 main components they are:
- Receptors
- Sensory neurons
- Motor neurons
- Interneuron
- Muscles.
These all react and help the body to take actions against any stimuli. The receptor organ feels the stimulus and the muscles takes the final actions.
The intermediate neurons helps in the transfer of the message to the brain from receptors and from the brain to the muscles to respond. It all happens within a fraction of time.
