Reflex action - the action which are taken by our nerve system by themselves for our protection are called reflex action. on these types of action there is our no control.

Example- our eyes' iris in the presence of excess sunlight get smaller so that the a suitable quantity of light could enter in our eyes and do not harm it. same as in the case of darkness our iris get bigger so that a suitable quantity of light could enter in it.
