a reflex  or reflex action, is an involuntary move by the brain through the nerves to save/escape from a action to keep the body unharmed. for example ,

*when body touches hot ironing tool (i dont know the word )it retracts immediately

*when a ball is coming toward your head your eyes close as a reflex
