Answer: Reflex action is the response or a reaction towards the changes in our surroundings or stimulus (technical word) which is not controlled by our brain.

Explanation: First, the stimulus is sensed by the special receptors in our sense organs. Then the information is taken to the spinal cord through sensory nerves to the brain. But the reflex action is so quick that it reaches to the brain but the brain is not able to response towards it. So the role of brain is played by the spinal cord here. The response from the spinal cord is sent to that body part through motor nerves. At last, the effector in the part shows the reaction towards the stimulus...
