The rapid spontaneous involuntary reaction without the involvement of brain is known as reflex action .it is important because in this action our body reacts do fastly that even our brain couldn't realise it.fir example if our hand is dipped in hot water and we think with our mind and after that reacts than it would very late and our will get burn .that's why the reflex actions are very important for our survival.
