These neuron cells carry the message from one part of the body to the other and help to communicate between the brain and other body parts. For example, pulling out your hand from the flame if it gets touched accidentally.

Below is the pathway of reflex action.

Receptors →  sensory neuron → spinal cord → motor neuron → effector.
