Refraction is the phenomenon of bending of light at the boundary of two mediums.Refraction is caused due to the change in speed of light when it enters from one medium to another. e.g., 1. when light goes from air into water it bends towards thenormal because there is a reduction in itsspeed.

when a Ray of light go to one medium to another then it changes path it is known as refraction .

it is because the particles of sound medium change the path of Ray and it is just like tyndall effect but in transparent medium because there are particle density

the change in the speed of light from one medium to another medium is the cause of refraction.
