Fragmentation may be defined as the process of breaking up of parent animal into two small parts, each of which grow up to become a new individual. This form of asexual reproduction may be found in Hydra and planaria.

Regeneration can be defined as the ability of an organism to grow it's lost parts again. This form of asexual reproduction may be found in protozoa, sponges, earthworms and starfish.

Hope this helps!!!!
