Mass is a measure of matter carried by a body.
While weight is the force with which the earth pulls us.
W = mg
Where g is the acceleration due to gravity of the planet.

hi friend
here's your answer looking for

I will glad to tell you about the difference between mass and weight.

Mass:- It a amount of matter contained in a body or it is a amount of inertia contained in a object.
It's SI unit is kilograms ( kg ).

Weight:- It is the product of mass and acceleration produced by an object.
it is a force that is exerted by the body on earth with some gravitational acceleration.
it's SI unit is Newton.

But mass and weight used as interchangeable but these both are totally different.

The weight can be varies place to place but mass also be constant.

Example :- if a body weigh 60kg on earth then , on moon it will become 10 kg.
but the mass will remain constant.

let's see how we can interchange these?

if a body has a mass of 10 kg then,
it's weigh will be 10kg ×9.8m/s^2 =98N

hope it helped you
