what is relations between molarity and molality

pathakak9708: Density to Molarity Conversion. Molarity and density are different ways of expressing essentially the same thing. Whereas density is the mass of a solid, liquid or gas divided by its volume, molarity is the number of moles of solute per liter of solution.

Molarity is a measurement of the moles in the total volume of the solution, whereas molality is a measurement of the moles in relationship to the mass of the solvent. When water is the solvent and the concentration of the solution is low, these differences can be negligible

Of moles of solute in 1ltr of solution and molality is defined as the no. Ofsolvent in 1kg of solvent. The difference is that molarity is changewith temperature but the molality does not depend on temperature. Molarity is the no of moles in 1 lt of solution .
