The chromatin further loops and coils to form the tightly condensed chromosome structure. This tight packing is important in making sure these long strings of DNA can fit inside the cell's nucleus. We can use the analogy of a city to better understand the relationship between DNA molecules, genes and chromosomes.

RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN CHROMATIN
______________________________ MATERIAL AND CHROMOSOME:
__________________________
◆CHROMOSOMES ARE HIGHLY CONDENSED FORM OF CHROMATIN MATERIL / FIBRES.
◆AS , THE CELL BEGINS TO ENTER THE FIRST STAGE (PROPHASE) OF CELL DIVISION, THE CHROMATIN FIBRES CONDENSE TO FORM CHROMOSOMES .
◆THE CHROMATIN MATERIAL CONSTITUTES THE FIBRE FORMED OF TWO SUBSTANCES :
●DNA , AND,
●HISTONES.
