2.Electronic configuration is the number of electrons present in an atom. It consists shells , subshells.

3.The outermost orbital of an atom is also known as valence orbital. Number of electrons present in this shell decides the chemical and physical properties of an atom.

4.The electrons present in valence shell orbital are well known as valence electrons.

5.But remember one thing , the outermost orbital when not completely filled then only it is known as valence shell and electrons are known as valence elctrons.
