The ratio of the density of the sample to the density of a
standard substance is known as relative density. Like the water for solid or liquid and air
for gas.
That is,
D = Wa/Wa – Ww
D = 80/80-64
D = 80/16
D = 5
As we can see that the relative density is greater than 1 so the object will sink into the water.
