relative motion means at same time when one appears as in rest for one person or object at the same time the same thing appears as in motion for another object
ex- object lying on table appear as rest for us but when people see it from earth appears as in motion
No object on earth is in rest due to motion of earth

Relative motion is the calculation of the motion of an object with regard to some other moving object. Thus, the motion is not calculated with reference to the earth, but is the velocity of the object in reference to the other moving object as if it were in a static state.
