Reproduction is the process by which organisms of different species give rise to their young ones. It is due to reproduction only that life is still present on earth after millions of years. Reproduction can be classified into two types

• Asexual reproduction - does not involve fusion of gametes, mostly uniparental, can happen in non-adverse conditions and produces less variations in DNA . eg- Amoeba, Rose
• sexual Reproduction- involves fusion of gametes, mostly biparental, occurs mostly in adverse conditions and gives rise to variations. eg- Hibiscus, Humans
