here's ur answer...
reproduction is the process of giving birth to young ones.
there are two types of reproduction:-
→sexual reproduction- in this type of Reproduction both male and female are necessary. for example Reproduction in cows, human, cats etc.
→asexual reproduction- in this type of Reproduction only one parent is required. for example- amoeba, bacteria, hydra etc.
SEXUAL REPRODUCTION:-
male reproductive organs-
1. penis
2.pair of testes
3.sperm duct
female reproductive organs-
1. uterus
2.pair of ovaries
3.oviduct
fertilization- the process of fission of sperm from male and ova(egg) from female is called fertilization.
★types of fertilization:
1.internal fertilization- in this case fertilization takes place inside female body. for example:- humans, dogs etc.
2. external fertilization- in this case fertilization takes place outside the female body. for example:- test tube baby, IVF(in vitro fertilization), most of the aquatic animals.
•zygote- during fertilization sperm from the male and ova from female fuse to give rise a new cell called zygote.
•embryo- the zygote divide itself and form different tissues and organs of the body. this stage of body is called embryo.
•foetus- it is the stage of embryo in which all the body parts can be identified.
•baby- when the foetus is completely developed mother give birth to baby.
there are two types of animals:
1.viviporous animals- these animals give birth to young ones. for example:- blue whales, humans etc.
2.oviporous animals- these animals lay eggs. for example:- hen, lizard, fish etc.
ASEXUAL REPRODUCTION:-
1.budding in hydra- hydra contains bulges which develop into new individuals called buds, it is called budding.
2.binary fission in amoeba- in this case a single cell amoeba(fully developed) called mother cell divide itself into 2 nuclei called daughter cell. this process is called binary fission.
