Reproduction is the biological process by which new individual organisms – "offspring" – are produced from their "parents". Reproduction is a fundamental feature of all known life; each individual organism exists as the result of reproduction. There are two forms of reproduction: asexual and sexual.

Answer:

Reproduction is a biological process in which an organism produce younger one similar to itself. It is essential process for the continuation of their species., reduction takes place in unicellular organism as well as multicellular organism. For example in unicellular organism like amoeba reproduction takes place by binary fission. By this method genetically identical daughter cells ( clones) are produced. In multicellular organism like humans male and female gametes, sperm and ova respectively fuse to a form an offspring similar to their parents.

Reproduction is a complex process. Many processes take place one by one in a sequential process.
