REPRODUCTION: The process of giving birth to younger ones or new individuals either sexually or asexually is called as reproduction. There are two kinds of reproductions namely: sexual and asexual reproductions.

SEXUAL REPRODUCTION: In this type of reproduction there is involvement of two different individuals. The contact of these organisms leads to the formation of zygote with their gametes. This zygote changes to a new individual. This type of reproduction is mainly seen in mammals. For example: human beings.

ASEXUAL REPRODUCTION: In asexual reproduction the involvement of two organisms is not necessary. The single organism reproduce its own offspring without the contact with another organism. This is mainly seen in plants and other insects. In this reproduction the organism reproduces identical offsprings. There are several methods of asexual reproduction like budding, binary fission, fragmentation etc.
