process of producing young ones from parents or parent is called reproduction. animal do sexual reproduction while only flowering plants do sexual reproduction and other do asexual reproduction.

Reproduction is the process of division/ forming of new cells or cell from old cells.

Plants reproduction takes place when one type of cell is sufficient.

But in the the animal or multicellular organisms reproduction takes place when two cells fuses to form single cell.
