Explanation:

Resistance;

It is the hindrance to the movement of electrons in a conductor. The electrons tend to move when there is a potential difference across the conductor. The formula of resistance is;

R = p L / A

Potential Difference;

It is the difference in voltage levels between two points or the work required to move charges in conductor . Due to difference in voltage, the current flows.

Relationship between V and R;

V = I x R

Difference between current resistance and potential difference

• Current resistance

- When two points are separated by the potential difference and there flow of charge needs to be measured then it's termed as current resistance.

- This phenomenon is always measured in Amps.

• Potential difference

- When electrical potential energy is measured between two points then it's termed as potential difference.

- This phenomenon is always measured in Volts.
