Answer 1. Just like voltmeters, ammeter tend to infuence the amount of current in the circuits they're connected to. However, unlike ideal voltmeters ," the ideal ammeter has zero internal resistance" , so as to drop as little voltage or possible as current flows through it.

An ideal ammeter should have zero resistance because it is connected in series to measure current. So, it should not add any resistance to the current.
