There are 3 factor s which affect the resistance of a wire
Nature of material ,it means electron density of any material by which we are going to make a wire.Dimension ( length,area of cross section )Temperature - in case of metal , temperature is directly proportinal to the resistance. But in case of semiconductor , temperature is inversrly proportinal to the resistance
