resistance is the opposition offered to the flow of current by a substance
while resistivity is the amount of resistance offered
resistance is given by R=pho L÷A
while resistivity is given by pho=RA÷L

Resistance tells you the specific number of ohms that a phsyical piece of conductor has. Resistivity is the electrical property of a material. The resistance of a specific length and cross sectional area piece of that material (e.g. like carbon, silver or copper) can be calculated using the resistivity property.
