What is resistors? What is the meaning of directionally proportional and inversely proportional???????

a law which states that the current in a DC circuit is directly proportional to the applied voltage and inversely proportional to the resistance. Word origin of 'Ohm's law' see ohm.

A device which do not allow electric current to flow in it is called resitor.
