Resonance is the polarity produced in the molecule by the interaction of two π bonds or between a π bond or a lone pair of electrons present on adjacent atom. And which is not resonance is non- resonance.

resonance describes the phenomenon of increased amplitude that occurs when the frequency of a periodically applied force is equal or close to a natural frequency of the system on which it acts
