Respiration is a bio-chemical process in which oxidation of glucose molecules take place to form carbon dioxide ,water, and lot amount of energy in form of ATP molecules.

In this O2 is need for cellular process and CO2 is need for waste product.

→ It requires oxygen.

→ Lots of ATP is produced in it.

→ It occurs in mitochondria.

→ End products are CO2 and H2O.

→ It don't requires oxygen.

→ Less ATP is produced in it.

→ It occurs in cytoplasm.

→ End products are lactic acid and CO2.
