Respiration is the exchange of gases with the breakdown of glucose and production of energy in the form of ATP. Breathing is the inhale of oxygen from atmosphere and release of Carbondioxide to the atmosphere. It doesnot involve any energy production. But in cellular respiration, glucose is broken down into CO2 and water with the release of energy.
