Reversible change can be defined as the physical process in which substances can be changed back to its original state.

Explanation:

  • Reversible changes are physical changes which means that only their form gets changed but its chemical composition remains the same.
  • For example, the change of state of water into ice, water and water vapours. There is a change in the state of water but the chemical composition of all these states with be H_{2}O
  • No new substances are formed in this entire process of conversion from one state to another.
  • The process which can be reversed easily are freezing, melting, boiling, evaporation, condensation, etc.
