Explanation:

I've had a lot of dreams—oddly enough, I remember most of them—where I can lift myself off the ground for a short distance by doing something in my head that causes me to float upward. It's kind of like how a jellyfish sort of "pumps" its way through the sea. The highest I can remember going was inside this enormous indoor mall where shoppers were milling about while I drifted well up into the rafters and observed them. The similarities between these experiences are striking, and it seems entirely reasonable that I would have this skill in a dream. Even now, when it's happening, I think to myself, "Wow, I never knew I had this capacity." Although I'm sure it's simply a dream, it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if I passed away and discovered that I could float in this manner.

One of my favourite dream scenarios is this one! This has been in many forms for me. Many of us, according to metaphysicians, "leave our bodies" as we sleep and travel across the "Universe," and having a flying dream is just one aspect of that experience. It's kind of like a "Crash landing" when you "Jolt" back into your body unexpectedly while you're sleeping. In some of my nightmares, I've "saw myself" floating high above the ground on my back while receiving light beams in my head and limbs. When I had the flu and was quite ill, this occurred. I woke up the following morning feeling good and in good health.
