The repeated multiple reflections of sound in any big enclosed space is known as reverberation.

The reverberation can be reduced by covering the ceiling and walls of the enclosed space with sound absorbing materials, such as fibre board, loose woollens, etc.

Echo is a result of multiple reflection of sound...When Sound stays or persist for long time it become reveberation...So
Persistance of multiple echoes for a long time in a big hall is called reveberation...

Reveberation enhance the quality of music but sometime it become noisy so in order to reduce it we simply we such sound absorbing material...which are soft and porous...
To reduce reveberation Use
- compressed Fibreboard in walls
- Heavy Curtains , Sofa or any soft material.
