Role of Stomata:-
Plants have small openings on the surface of their leaves and they are called stomata.
They generally open up during the day time and remain closed at night.
They help in the exchange of carbon dioxide(Co2) and oxygen(O2). They also help the plants in the process of Transpiration( the removal of water in the form of water vapours from the aerial surface of the plant).
