The lowermost part of plant which is embedded in soil and through which plant takes minerals and absorbs water is called roots.

a) Tap root system..❤

--> the primary roots and it's branches together constitute the Tap root system.. this system is mostly found in Dicotyledon

--> Tap root denotes to the main roots and it's division, which go deep into the soil

--> In dicots such as Trees, plants and shrubs.. cultivated from the radicle..

b) Fibrous Root system..❤

--> In Monocotyledonous plants, the primary root is short lived and is replaced by a large number of roots..

--> Roots of this system get originates from the base of the stem and constitute fibrous Root..

--> fibrous root are indicating to the fine hair like roots, which extended in all directions, close to the surface of the ground..

--> In monocots such as reed and grasses..onion,wheat, coconut and palm etc

c) Adventitious roots..❤

--> In some plants,like Grass,monstera and banyan tree...roots are get arise from other part of the plant other than the radicle and are called adventitious roots
